My name is Riccardo, I am a PhD student in Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
I started my engineering path in Engineering Physics. What is Engineering Physics you ask? Well, nobody knows.It is not Physics and it is not Engineering, like Balto we only knows what we are not. Maybe because of that doubt, after the Bachelor’s degree I decided to turn to the dark side and study Nuclear Engineering (I suppose I like neutrons doing things) in a land forgotten by God: the Bovisa campus.
I specialized myself around neutronics and fission reactors, in my Master’s thesis i worked on Monte Carlo simulations of neutronics in TRIGA reactors. Now i am working on cute nuclear reactors for space applications.
